DJ Charged With Disorderly Conduct for Playing F*ck the Police…to Police

Westfield, Massachusets – A DJ has been charged with Disorderly Conduct for playing ‘F*ck the Police’ as police were called to clear an overcrowded bar. As police were entering a bar called Shenanigans, Kashawn Harris, also known as his moniker ‘DJ Boogy’ played N.W.A.’s infamous track which resulted in him being charged with inciting a riot.

Officer Juanita Mejias who was at the scene wrote in her report, “I believed at that time the combination of alcohol, the excessive amount of people in the bar and the song that the DJ chose to play at that time was an intentional act by the DJ to incite the crowd which showed a reckless disregard for public safety.”

In an interview, DJ Boogy responded to the allegations against him, “I had no intention of inciting a riot, it was just college kids having fun. For them to even think I was trying to start riots was frustrating. That’s not my kind of background, that’s not where I come from.”

DJ Boogy also claims that he only realized he was being charged when he received a court summons months later.
