Five Questions on Flying with DJ Vice

DJ Vice likes to take the audience around the world during his jetset DJ sets, so we asked him for some advice on traveling and going to the airport.

LA native Eric Aguirre a.k.a. DJ Vice likes two things: tacos and DJing. His motto is “Late Nights…Early Flights…VIP…Drink for free,” and he takes that attitude everywhere he goes, including his high profile residencies at world class nightspots like Marquee (Las Vegas and New York), LIV Miami, and Create in Los Angeles. In addition to traveling to music festivals such as ULTRA Miami, Nocturnal Wonderland and Electric Daisy Carnival, he has produced music with Rihanna, Capitol Cities, Linkin Park, Kelly Rowland and more.

If you enjoy Mexican food and music, then check out Aguirre’s YouTube series Electric Taco, featuring interviews of notable figures while they eat tacos. Past episodes have included special guests A-Trak, Brody Jenner, Nick Young and Reggie Bush.

When those late nights and early flights start catching up with you… #cafecitotime ☕️??

Where is the best airport you have ever been to?

Chicago O’Hare only because of Tortas Frontera by Rick Bayless. Internationally, I am a fan of London Heathrow.

What do you dislike about waiting at the airport?

TSA pre-check now accepts children and senior citizens which slows down the line….ughhh!

How would you react if there was no Wi-Fi and your flight was delayed?

I’m ok with no wifi and delayed planes if I am actually inside the plane because I sleep every time I hit the chair. I am a trained professional at airplane sleeping.

What are some indispensable items in your DJ carry on bag?

Hand sanitizer, mobile wifi hotspot, tea tree oil toothpicks, backup battery phone charger, PASSPORT!

Do you have any advice for traveling DJ’s?

Bose QuietComfort 20 Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones and sign up for Global Entry!

From his tour schedule it looks like Vice will be spending most of the year performing his residencies in Las Vegas and San Diego, with select dates in Forth Worth (TX), Cleveland (OH), Kansas City (MO), Chicago and New York. Catch him in Vegas at the Marquee, TAO or Encore Beach Club this summer.
