NAMM 2017: Allen & Heath’s Xone:PX5 4-Channel Mixer

As we were planning which DJ companies we should cover during the NAMM Show, the BPM Supreme team decided we absolutely had to feature Allen & Heath. It’s no question that this company made a positive impact on the DJ industry. Their products have become synonymous with reliability and practicality of use.

When we got to the Allen & Heath booth our focus was directed to the Xone:PX5 4-channel mixer. Greg Ibbotson, a representative of Allen & Heath provided us with a solid intro and explanation of key technical specs and intuitive design of the Xone:PX5.

Below are a few takeaways:

  • The layout of the Xone:PX5 is simple & straightforward – a definite plus for those who desire function over high-gloss aesthetics
  • Because of the practical layout, DJs won’t get tripped up by overloaded features
  • It’s easy to start adding and dialing in effects – the effects section was designed to be very simple in its grouping
  • 100% analog
  • $1499

Check out Allen & Heath’s website for more information on this solid 4-channel club mixer.
