Smithson Martin Kontrol Surface 32: Highly Touch Responsive and Fully Compatible

There we were, the BPM Supreme team in front of the Smithson Martin booth at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. We saw the KS32 of equipment in pictures and press releases, but this is the type of gear you have to see for yourself in person to believe it. Our team had a chance to talk to Cody, a Smithson Martin team member who gave us a detailed and in-depth review of the KS32 as you can see in the video above.

It’s an emulator machine, but it’s so much more once you see the product in front of you. It not only emulates various controller templates, but gives the user a creative canvas with its modifiable touch surface templates, allowing you to bring your favorite hardware to life on an amply spaced touch area of 32 inches.

The KS32’s “capactive touch area has less than a 5 millisecond response time” or in other words, really damn responsive. It’s basically the fastest in the market. Have no fear of compatibility, as the KS32 is now fully compatible with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and OSX.

This piece of gear takes just minutes to get comfortable with. As Cody stated in the video, “you can get right to work without any learning curve.” It really is a remarkable machine. Smithson Martin has undoubtedly time and again made waves in the industry, but is now proving how creative and innovative they are with the new KS32.
