1. The Weeknd – M A N I A

The Weeknd teased his highly anticipated album Starboy like a groupie with twelve-minute video called M A N I A that contains snippets of new favorites like “Party Monster,” “Secrets” and Sidewalks” featuring Kendrick Lamar. It was directed by Grant Singer and stars model/actress Anais Mali alongside Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye. So far it is in the lead by far, accumulating over 11 million views as of this post.

2. Kehlani – Distraction

American pop singer Kehlani debuted the official video for “Distraction” the lead single from her upcoming album SWEETSEXYSAVAGE. This is her first solo release since she left the girl group PopLyfe in 2013, who appeared on the sixth season America’s Got Talent. The video has garnered nearly six million views on YouTube thus far, leaving fellow group singer Niall Horan of One Direction in the dust.

3. Niall Horan – This Town (Lyric Video)

When Irish pop singer Niall Horan released a live version of “This Town” last September it went viral and now we have the lyric video too. The stop motion music video was created by animator Marius Franc, who had to hand draw over 1,800 illustrations in interpretation of the lyrics. The music video is nearing 1.5 million views as of this blog posting.

4. Train – Play That Song

Train came around the bend again with “Play That Song.” According to the band in the video description, “It was such a great time making the video for ‘Play That Song.’ The idea to be on top of the world and have the whole town react to the happiness was super fun and corny and sweet and I wish life was really like this video!” It has over 732,405 views.

5. KURA – TORA

Rúben “KURA” de Almeida is an electro-house producer from Portugal. His new big room track “TORA” dropped last week on Spinnin’ Records. The accompanying music videos has over 500 thousand views so far, which is a lot for an indie EDM artist. According to the description, “TORA is exotic and will make crowds jump all over the world!”
