Reloop has released the RP-2000 MK2 – a dependable turntable perfect for beginner DJs due to its wallet-friendly price. The RP-2000 MK2 features several new enhancements and is available for purchase now. Keep reading for more.

The RP-2000 MK2 is a quartz-driven DJ turntable with direct drive. It features precise motor control with 2 speeds selectable (33 1/3 & 45 rpm) and Precision Pitch with selectable ranges of +/-8 %.

Much like the RP-4000 MK2 released back in April, the RP-2000 MK2 has a redesigned top panel and improved metallic buttons with enhanced feel. It comes in a deep black metallic finish and has a super-sturdy construction complete with shock-absorbing feet.

Additional features include:

  • Precision-engineered, die-cast aluminum platter with stable rotation
  • Statically balanced S-shaped tone arm w/ hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism
  • Universal connection for pick-up systems (SME)
  • Extendible needle illumination
  • Sturdy, heavy construction with optimized damping features
  • Dust cover (available as optional accessory)
  • Included slipmat, removable headshell, and ready-mounted OM Black pick-up made by Ortofon

The RP-2000 MK2 is available now for a little less than $300 USD (€249). To find out where you can buy one, visit the Reloop website.
