Google Introduces GOODFest Concert Series

Google is partnering with GOOD Media in a concert tour called GOODfest to promote the Pixel Phone. Initial proceeds from the events will go to charity.

In contrast to tech companies that want us to ban cellphone use at shows, Google and GOOD Media are holding five events across the US where the audience is encouraged to record footage using their Google Pixels. GOODFest, a live stream festival for good, will play New York, New Orleans, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles over the next few months. Glass Animals, D.R.A.M. and Gogol Bordello have already been booked but the last two dates in California have yet to be announced.

GOODFest Tour Dates

  • Nov 26 – Glass Animals @ BAM Cafe, New York City, playing for GENEROSITY
  • Dec 9 – Gogol Bordello w/ Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) @ Music Box, New Orleans, playing for HUMANITY
  • Dec 12 – D.R.A.M. @ Neumo’s, Seattle, playing for EARTH
  • TBA – San Francisco for EQUALITY
  • TBA – Los Angeles for LOVE

Google plans to live stream the each event as it happens, and invites music fans to sign up for reminders from GOODFest.

Based in Los Angeles, GOOD Media are the minds behind GOOD Magazine and GOOD Corps. They promote social action that impacts a broad millennial audience through award-winning projects and creative partnerships.
