Korg Debuts Electribe 2 with DJ Routine Video
The Electribe 2 by Korg is here in a new finger drumming video. Watch the introduction here and find out where to buy one.
The Korg Electribe has been around for over a decade as both a mixer (ESX1) and a sampler (EMX1). They are one of the worlds leading brands of music production stations. Now the company has unveiled the Electribe 2 in two unique units, along with an updated version of the production software.
There are two choices: the metallic blue “electribe2BL” or the metallic red “electribe2SRD.”
You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.―Morpheus to Neo in the Matrix (1999).
No matter which color you choose, the Korg Electribe will only help you produce music — even if it’s the red one. However both models include a wide spectrum of illuminated LED buttons, and knobs that adjust the various sound effects. The unit is compatible with Ableton Live so that you can quickly integrate it into the DAW. And the pattern chaining feature allows users to create an unlimited combination of sounds and music.
What’s more Korg has uploaded over 400 brand new sound patterns for producers. Test them out on SoundCloud before downloading the samples at their website.
The Electribe 2 drops in August 2016 for a MSRP of $399.99. Check out their official website to find an authorized distributor near you.
