Serato Sample Challenge Wants You to Make a Beat and Win $10,000
Share

The Serato Sample Challenge is inviting people from all over the world to make a beat with the Serato Sample plugin, film it, and share on social media for a chance to win $10,000 USD. Serato is looking for producers of all skill levels to compete in the challenge, and out of the box creativity is highly encouraged.

“Our new music production plugin already has a strong, diverse community of Sample users posting their beats online. So we wanted to show our support and encourage people to keep sharing their work with the world,” said Scotty Hoogerbrug, Chief Marketing Officer at Serato.

To get started, create a beat using Serato Sample (get a free 30-day trial here) and film yourself showcasing the beat in 60 seconds or less. Then upload your entry to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag with #seratosamplechallenge and @seratosample. Facebook submissions must be posted on Serato Sample’s Facebook page. And be sure your profile is set to public!

“We can’t wait to see what comes out of the woodwork during the course of the competition,” added Hoogerbrug.

The contest is now open and entries will close on January 16, 2018. The public will be able to submit daily votes and will whittle down the finalists. Special guest judges, Kenny Dope, Suzi Analogue, and DJ Spinna, will select the final winner of the grand cash prize of $10,000 USD.

To become a finalist, you need to gather lots of public votes, so entering the contest early and sharing your entry as much as possible can help it get to the top. Votes can be cast once per day on as many entries as you like, so get your friends to vote for your entry every day!
