Top Ten Wedding Songs in the U.S. Ranked by Spotify Users
Share

A wedding DJ’s music library is extensive. It’s a vast collection of today’s hits, as well as a mix of classic tunes that range from the ‘50s all the way through the 2000’s. And while every bride and groom wants their wedding to stand out (and be the party of the century), wedding music requests definitely see some trends.

Take a look at the top ten songs most likely to show up on wedding dance floors around the country:

1. Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud
2. Bruno Mars – Marry You
3. John Legend – All of Me
4. Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk
5. Whitney Houston – I Wanna Dance with Somebody
6. Journey – Don’t Stop Believin’
7. Jay-Z ft. Beyoncé – Crazy in Love
8. Christina Perri – A Thousand Years
9. Jason Mraz – I’m Yours
10. OutKast – Hey Ya!

According to The Washington Post, this data was gathered from wedding-specific playlists made by Spotify users from the year 2008 all the way until today. Not only do they look at the songs most frequently included on wedding playlists in the U.S., but they also determined the most uniquely popular song in each state. Who knew Fishin’ in the Dark was in such demand?

While every wedding has some variation in style and musical preferences, you can be prepared for any special event with downloads from BPM Supreme. We want to hear from you! Which songs do you get the most requests for at weddings?
